Our heritage
Stuart Fleming & Co has always been a family business. It began in 1968 when Stuart Fleming Sr went self-employed, decorating homes across Stoke-on-Trent. He believed in doing things properly, no shortcuts, no cutting corners, and that principle became the foundation everything else was built on.
In 1990, his son Stuart Jr joined him on the job and learned the trade the way it should be learned: hands on, brush in hand, with years of patience and practice. Stuart Jr carried that same work ethic forward for over three decades, building a reputation across North Staffordshire, Shropshire, and Cheshire for reliable, high-quality decorating that homeowners could trust.
Now in 2025, the craft passes to the third generation. Daniel has grown up around the trade and brings the same values his grandfather and father instilled: attention to detail, respect for the customer's home, and pride in a job done well.
From 1968 to today, the tools and techniques have evolved but the standards haven't. We still treat every home as if it were our own.
